The “go-to” person for anything you need to know at Dower Realty, Inc. is our own Kat, the Principal Broker. Her knowledge, experience, warmth, good humor, and kindness make her the perfect person for the job. She comes by it naturally, as she is the granddaughter of Dower Realty, Inc. founders, Frank and Betty Dower, whose legacy of integrity, service, and strong client relationships continues to shape the company today.


Kat’s professional career began in the Dower office in 2004 at just 20 years old, serving as the firm’s Office Manager. In 2013, she earned her Real Estate Salesperson license and transitioned into property management. Kat became Broker-in-Charge in 2017, working closely with former Principal Broker and her aunt, Debra Malia, who retired in 2021.


Professionally, Kat is a member of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS®, the Hawaii Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of Residential Property Managers. She is also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks.


Outside of real estate, Kat brings the same dedication and discipline to her personal interests. She is a competitive bikini bodybuilder and an avid baker who enjoys creating treats for family and friends. Most importantly, she cherishes spending quality time with her son, Kain (born 2011), who keeps her active and inspired.


Kat is always striving to maintain the perfect balance between professionalism and the personal, “ohana-style” relationships for which Dower Realty, Inc. is so well known, proudly continuing the family legacy.

Patricia has her Real Estate Brokers License and completed the GRI and e-Pro classes. She is a member of the Dower Ohana, In her other life (before Dower Realty, Inc.) she completed her Masters Degree in Social Work from University of Southern California (1982) and spent 25 years as a Clinical Social Worker. She also spent several years cruising the Eastern, Central and South Pacific with her husband Bob aboard the 40 foot sailboat "Mistress", before returning home to Hawaii. "Hawaii No Ka Oi"! After joining Dower Realty, Inc. in 2004 she was our Office Manager before becoming a Property Manager.

Mike has provided asset management, project management, property management & consulting services to owners of shopping centers, high rise & low rise office buildings, condo development, hotel, and various types of residential properties.  With over 40 years  of experience in the real estate industry (licensed in 1981), Mike is an asset to the Dower Realty, Inc. property management team!

Helen L. On brings over 34 years of real estate experience and deep local expertise to every client relationship. Throughout her career, she has successfully guided buyers and sellers through a wide range of transactions, earning a reputation for problem-solving, market insight, and trusted advice. Helen has extensive knowledge of Oahu’s real estate landscape, from Pearl City to East Oahu, with particular expertise in the Kaimuki area. Early in her career, she achieved million-dollar producer status, a testament to her dedication and results-driven approach.


At the heart of Helen’s success is her unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service. She believes that every client deserves personalized attention and clear guidance. Helen has extensive experience assisting first-time buyers and new immigrants, carefully walking them through the U.S. real estate process step by step to ensure confidence and clarity. Her fluency in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese allows her to effectively serve a diverse clientele and bridge language and cultural gaps. Helen stays ahead of market trends by actively pursuing continuing education, staying current with industry publications, and embracing new technologies. This commitment ensures her clients benefit from up-to-date market knowledge and informed decision-making. Whether buying or selling, clients can rely on Helen’s experience, professionalism, and dedication to achieving their real estate goals.
